About Video Pages
A Video Page is a page dedicated to a single video. Every video on a Maestro site has one, and each is reachable at its own web address. Like other pages on your site, a Video Page is built from content blocks and is designed to be indexed by search engines.
What a Video Page contains
A Video Page always begins with the video itself, shown in a fixed video block at the top of the page. Below that, the page can hold any other content blocks you choose to add, such as descriptions, links, or calls to action.
Where Video Pages live
Each Video Page has its own dedicated URL. Video Pages are not listed in the navigation dropdown at the top of a site; they are reached through their direct links or through search.
Availability
Video Pages are enabled on most Maestro sites.
How Video Pages are created
Video Pages are created automatically. There is no separate step to publish a page for a video.
From an uploaded video
When a video is uploaded through the admin panel, its Video Page is created and linked to that video automatically.
From a completed live stream
When a live stream ends and a recording (VOD) is generated, a Video Page is created automatically for that recording, using the title saved for the VOD.
Automatic publishing
When a video and its page are created, the site updates automatically so the page goes live. No manual rebuild or republish is required.
