How to Add a Channel Navigator

Learn how to add a Channel Navigator to your Live Channels and Pages on Maestro.

Adding Channel Selection to your Maestro site will allow your users to view and access the different channels and pages that you've created. 

There are multiple ways to add Channel Navigation to your site:

1. Within a Page
2. Below your video or graphic on a Live Channels
3. As a panel on your Live Channels.

Adding a Channel Navigator to a Page:

1. From the admin tool bar on the bottom of your window, select the Page where you'd like to add a Channel Select. Once on your desired page, click "EDIT PAGE" on the bottom of the window. 
    

2. With the editor open, hover your mouse and click the + sign to add a block. Select the Channel Navigation block.

   

Once added, we need to configure the row. 

1. A modal will open. Give your row a name. 

   

2. Once you choose a name, click the "Add channel" button to select which Pages and Channels you'd like to add to your row.
    
3. Click the check mark symbol to choose that channel or page and add it to the row. Repeat this process for each.
    

4. When you're done, click "Save" on the modal to save your configuration.

   

5. Your row will appear on your page. If you need to make any changes, click the gear icon to reopen the modal and make edits.
    

6. When you're finished, click "PUBLISH" on the bottom of the window to push your changes live.

   

Adding a Channel Navigation block below your video or graphic on a Live Channel

1. From the admin tool bar on the bottom of your window, select the Live Channel where you'd like to add a Channel Navigator. Once on your desired page, click "Edit Channel" on the bottom of the window to open the editor.
    
2. Follow the steps above to add your Channel Navigator.

Add a Channel Navigation panel to your Live Channel

1. From the admin tool bar on the bottom of your window, select the Live Channel where you'd like to add a Channel Select Panel. Once on your desired page, click "Edit Channel" on the bottom of the window to open the editor.
    
2. On the right side of your window, click the gear icon to add and configure your panels.
    
3. Scroll down through the options to the Channel Select panel. Click the gear icon to configure it. From here add a name; and then select the display mode. "List" will show all the Channel Thumbnails in a listed format "Grid" will show the thumbnails two per row.
   
   
    
4. Choose Automatic or Manual configuration. Automatic will add all of your Pages and Channels, Manual will allow you to pick and choose which Pages and Channels to display.
    
5. When you're finished, click "Publish" to push the changes live.
